Fishing and Camping

Family is doing great. Went to Oregon for a week and did some Salmon and Crab Fishing. My first Salmon was 10lbs. My second Salmon was attacked and eaten by a SeaLion as I realed it in. Caught about 60 Crab. In short, had a great time.

Took the family to the lake for 4 days last weekend. Took the kids swimming every day. Several memories created that will stay with me always. Andrew started school this year and is very smart. Juniper has started Violin and Horseback Riding. Eve is doing Gymnastics. Jennifer is the worlds best wife and mother (she had a good teacher/example growing up). I'm going Bow Hunting this weekend for Deer and Rifle next month. For 25 Dollers I'm able to Hunt 6 Deer, 2 Turkey and 2 Wild Boar. Hope I get them all. Lots of Food storage. Hope all is well with every one.

Camping at Jordan Lake NC

Last weekend we spent the last 4 days at Jordan Lake. Did a little fishing. Mostly played with the kids in the water. Our camping site was right on the water. We took the camper and a Kayak. The kids played chicken while standing on the kayak. We also took our 3 Dogs. Savanna our golden retriever likes the water but is old and does not want to swim around much. Cookie the dogsun can swim very well but rather stay on shore or in the boat. Pepper the Black Lab loves the water and swims very fast. Next trip were taking my friends Boat with us and will do some skiing. Cant wait! Roasted some marshmello's and watched movie's on the side of the camper at night. In short, A good time. Hope all is well with everyone.

The Beach Again!

Last week we went camping at Emerald Isle, NC. No videos this time, Just one photo. The Beach was great. Spent 5 days there. The camp ground had an Arcade and Go-Cart Track. Andrew and I went together on a go-Cart that had a steering wheel for him too (But I was really driving). Took the kids Crab Hunting as they call it one night. Did lots of Boogie Boarding as well. The camp ground also had a large pool, which was nice. Set up the Projector 3 of the nights and we watched movie's on the side of the Camper. Several people walked by and watched for a minute or two. In short, a good Family trip. Nothing brings me more love and joy than spending time with my family and creating memories that they will always remember.

Camping at Myrtle Beach

Last week we spent a week at Myrtle Beach, SC State Park right by the Beach. The Beach was right next to the camp ground and only a 5 min walk. The camp ground was really nice. Full hook ups and showers. Went to the Beach at least once sometimes twice a day. Taught Juniper and Eve to Boogie Board. Found lots of Sea Shells. Jennifer found the best one. I took the kids out to the beach one night looking for sea shells and found lots of little crabs. During the week we went to a Water Park, Amusement park , Ripplys Museum-Aquarium-Mirror Maze-Haunted House-Moving Theater. Kids had a great time. Next week we head to Emerald Isle Beach. Enjoy the Photos and Videos. Love ya all.

Fair-Camping-My Birthday

Not to much going on. Work is going great. Took the kids to the Fair couple of weeks ago. Went Camping a couple times. Kids loved it. June is becoming a great Fisher Woman. Eve is shying away from fishing, but loves to shoot guns. Last week was my Birthday. I am now 31 years old with a few gray hairs. Jennifer's Garden is out of control with all the things she is growing. The first Sunflower was picked today to allow the seeds to dry out. The Snow Pea's produced all the pea's they can and have been replaced with Ocra. The Corn, Peanuts, Tomato's, Bell peppers, Broccoli, Zuccini, Purpal hole Pea's, Butter beans, Potato's, Squash, Ect, Ect are doing great. Today i went for a 21 mile bicycle ride and today I replaced the dirt tires on the bike with street tires I extra. I also got out the Compound Bow and shot a few arrows and sighted in my Bow for the Deer Season. On my Birthday My Wife made me go fishing and I caught a 5 pound Large Mouth Bass who broke off 10 inch's of my Fishing Pole. Enjoy the photo's and Video's.

I placed 3rd in a pro Fishing Tournament!

A few weeks ago I was entered into a Pro Large Mouth Bass fishing Tournament (my first one). Last Friday was the Tournament at Jordan Lake, NC. I took 3rd place out of 300 people. I won some money, a really nice fishing rod and reel, and a ton of other fishing stuff. There is no other fishing like Bass Fishing. This weekend I'm going back out to the same lake to try my luck. It's only 45 Min. away. The bad thing was, everyone had to turn loose there catch after the weigh in of the fish. The two biggest bass I caught were 5 1/2 Lbs and 6 1/2 lBS. The biggest bass of the day was almost 9 pounds. I wish i got that one. I did let about a 7 lbs bass get away just as he got in the net. Oh well. I did get to see a Bald Eagle in his huge nest near the bank (really cool). Before the start, an Army Jump team did a water landing. Enjoy the Photos/video. Luke

Camping Season has arrived

Took the family to Badin lake for 4 days. It was great. Did some fishing, hiking and just some good old being a bum and having fun. Cooked dessert in the Dutch Oven my dad gave me (very good). The fishing was good. I caught an 8 pound Channel cat fish on my Pen Pole (supper small-it's made to go in your fishing bag or vest-great for fishing with lures). We also caught Blue Gill, Bass and Perch. We had Eve's birthday while camping. I got her a single shot-bolt action pink .22 cal (youth model). She love's shooting my .22 cal and loves her new one even more. We took the movie projecter and put a white sheet on the side of the camper and watched a movie after dark. Gave the kids turn's riding in the bike trailer on trails (my bike has a motor) they loved it. Even put my wife Jennifer in the trailer and gave her a ride. She was much more scared than the kids. Enjoy the photo's, video's and hope all is well with you and your families. Also built Jennifer a Green House with an Auto Watering system and one for the garden so we can Camp and her plants dont die.
