WHY

Well, I have my orders in hand. I will be reporting to Fort Bragg, NC on 10 Jan 2009. I'll be leaving here on 15 Dec. 2008. Cant Wait! MY Battalion and Brigade are trying to change my orders to report in June 2009, but I dont think it will happen. There is no justification for it. Next week end I'm going to to Las Vegas again for BEST OF THE WEST. Look forward to seeing some family. The kids are great and also look forward to going to NC. X-mas will be in NC this year at Jennifers mothers house. Not looking forward to the drive.

Couple weekends ago I was camping and came upon a man who just had a Heart Attack in the camp Ground early in the morning. He was bleeding from his head and was not breathing. I started CPR and got him breathing again after about a min. He then stopped breathing again and I resumed CPR for about 45 min. until a helicopter came and got. He did have weak pulse but was not breathing. Not sure if he made it or not.

Update to camping trip

Sorry so short but I keep losing the content during upload and are tired of typing it over. Currently on orders to Fort Bragg, NC. Leaving 10 Dec. 2008. Videos are from last camping trip.

UPDATE

So much time has passed. The family is doing great. I'm still here in Roy, UT. I will be reassigned by this time next year. I'm going to Fort Bragg, NC this weekend for an interview for a job in Special Ops. Last week I was selected to be inducted into the Audie Murphy Club in the United States Army. With this I should have no problems making MSG/1SG. I am Honored to be inducted. In short my career is going great and have 8 years till retirement. Well, my first retirement. The Family has been camping several times this summer and fishing. Eve learned to Ski this year and I have attached a video of it. She did great! Juniper has become a great
fisher-Woman and starting to make me look bad. Andrew caught his second fish this year and brought it in all on his own. The Kids also have become great swimmers. Jennifer is doing well with her book and there is no question in my mind she will be well known.

Met with Jared at Pine Valley last month and did some camping/fishing. Juniper might need to give him some fishing tips (haha).

Our last camping trip was over 4th of July weekend at Deer Creek Resevore. Nice place except for the rocky beach. Caught several Small Mouth Bass and 1 Trout. I have discovered the need for and now keep a vacume sealer to vacume seal the fish fresh and then put them into the freezer. This was the first trip I've done this.

Everything is going well. June and went Skiing as you can see from the attached video. She did very well. Eve and I are going next. This will be her first time skiing and she cant wait. I'm going to teach her as I did June. Jennifer is doing well and Andrew is getting big. I cant wait for all this snow to melt so I can go camping. I bought a new SUV. It's a Dodge Durango 5.7L V-8 with a third row seat. It's going to replace my old Suburban. I now have two sell the Suburban and Maybe the Nissan Pathfinder. I think Jared wants the Pathfinder to pull behind his motor home. Work is busy as ever and look forward to going back east. This Summer I'm going to take the family on a two week camping trip up into Oregon. I cant wait. Well, enjoy the video.
