DAY AT LAGOON THEME PARK
Time is short and the family cant wait to go to North Carolina. Spent the day with the family at lagoon Theme Park couple weeks ago. They had a blast.
Moved out of Housing on base and staying in my camper the last few weeks. All my stuff is already in North Carolina waiting to be delivered.
The family is great! Taking the kids skiing a couple times before we leave. Cant wait to teach Andrew this year. The snow is on the mountian and all Ski Resorts should be open by Thanks Giving.

WHY
Well, I have my orders in hand. I will be reporting to Fort Bragg, NC on 10 Jan 2009. I'll be leaving here on 15 Dec. 2008. Cant Wait! MY Battalion and Brigade are trying to change my orders to report in June 2009, but I dont think it will happen. There is no justification for it. Next week end I'm going to to Las Vegas again for BEST OF THE WEST. Look forward to seeing some family. The kids are great and also look forward to going to NC. X-mas will be in NC this year at Jennifers mothers house. Not looking forward to the drive.
Couple weekends ago I was camping and came upon a man who just had a Heart Attack in the camp Ground early in the morning. He was bleeding from his head and was not breathing. I started CPR and got him breathing again after about a min. He then stopped breathing again and I resumed CPR for about 45 min. until a helicopter came and got. He did have weak pulse but was not breathing. Not sure if he made it or not.

UPDATE
So much time has passed. The family is doing great. I'm still here in Roy, UT. I will be reassigned by this time next year. I'm going to Fort Bragg, NC this weekend for an interview for a job in Special Ops. Last week I was selected to be inducted into the Audie Murphy Club in the United States Army. With this I should have no problems making MSG/1SG. I am Honored to be inducted. In short my career is going great and have 8 years till retirement. Well, my first retirement. The Family has been camping several times this summer and fishing. Eve learned to Ski this year and I have attached a video of it. She did great! Juniper has become a great
fisher-Woman and starting to make me look bad. Andrew caught his second fish this year and brought it in all on his own. The Kids also have become great swimmers. Jennifer is doing well with her book and there is no question in my mind she will be well known.
Met with Jared at Pine Valley last month and did some camping/fishing. Juniper might need to give him some fishing tips (haha).

Our last camping trip was over 4th of July weekend at Deer Creek Resevore. Nice place except for the rocky beach. Caught several Small Mouth Bass and 1 Trout. I have discovered the need for and now keep a vacume sealer to vacume seal the fish fresh and then put them into the freezer. This was the first trip I've done this.

Everything is going well. June and went Skiing as you can see from the attached video. She did very well. Eve and I are going next. This will be her first time skiing and she cant wait. I'm going to teach her as I did June. Jennifer is doing well and Andrew is getting big. I cant wait for all this snow to melt so I can go camping. I bought a new SUV. It's a Dodge Durango 5.7L V-8 with a third row seat. It's going to replace my old Suburban. I now have two sell the Suburban and Maybe the Nissan Pathfinder. I think Jared wants the Pathfinder to pull behind his motor home. Work is busy as ever and look forward to going back east. This Summer I'm going to take the family on a two week camping trip up into Oregon. I cant wait. Well, enjoy the video.

Snow & Early Training
Not to much going on out of the ordinary. Lots of snow and playing in the snow. This weekend I'm taking the girls skiing. It will be Eve's first time and Junipers 3rd. I myself have gone 3 times this winter. The ski resorts here make Brian Head look terrible. I'm thinking about trading in the old suburban for a Conversion Van. Lots of room and able to pull the camper with no problems. The problem is it will require me to go in debt and for the first time in my life I paid off all my debt last year. Feeding Day
Today I fed the Snakes. They are two Bull Pythons a male and female. They will be having babies again this May. The Females name is Cruella and the Male Scar. Attached are the videos from today's feeding.
Earlier today I got all the Soldier together we have helped Join and are waiting to go to training for a physical fitness session. We worked out as a group for about an hour. Lets just say when we were done 4 of them had to give up there breakfast and everyone was covered sweat.

The Start
Just found out about this blogger thing yesterday from an old friend from High School. Thought it was a good idea and decided to do it also.
The family is great. Juniper is about to 11 going on 16, Eve 7 and Andrew 4. Spoke with Eddie the other day. He hates the Army and cant wait to get out. Even though this has been the best thing he has ever done in my opinion. Work is going well. At the end of March I will be putting in for reassignment to go back east. The kids loved x-mas in North Carolina. Juniper got a .410 shot gun from me. She and I have gone clay pigon shooting and she is a great shot. Andrew got all kinds of Dinosaurs and loves the Train set from Grandma and Grandpa Pearson. I myself got a remote control Helicopter from my wife and love it. It's much bigger than the one I have now and can do acrobatics. Very difficult to fly. Went snowboarding last week and cant wait to go again. Well, thats enough for now. I'm at work and have tons to do.
